GURJA HIMAL EXPEDITION
A mind-boggling visual smorgasbord of massive mountain peaks to feast your eyes on! This is a must see peak that sees fewer climbers, hence more solitude and time for you to absorb the breathtaking surrounding beauty. Gurja Himal (7193m/23,599ft) is a peak within the Dhaulagiri Himal, a sub-mountain range of the Himalayas. Gurja Himal is located 21.3 km west of Dhaulagiri I, the 7th highest mountain in the world at 8167m (26,795 ft). Gurja Himal is joined by a ridge to Dhaulagiri VI (7268m). The ridge continues in an easterly direction to Dhaulagiri IV (7661m), Dhaulagiri V (7618m), Dhaulagiri III (7715m) and Dhaulagiri II (7751m), and in the west to Churen Himal, Ghustang (6529m). There is a 6010m pass that separates them. On two flanks of Gurja Himal lie the Kaphe Glacier on the northwest flank and the Konabon Glacier on the northeast flank
The summit of Gurja Himal offers an unbelievable panoramic view of Dhaulagiri II, Dhaulagiri III, Dhaulagiri IV, Dhaulagiri V, Churen Himal (Main), Churen Himal (East), Churen Himal (West), Dhaulagiri VI, Putha Hiunchuli (Dhaulagiri VII) and Gurja Himal.

Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 : Half day Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and preparation for Expedition
Day 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (950m/3,116ft) 6hrs.
Day 4 : Drive from Pokhara to Darbang (1110m/3,641ft) 5 hrs
Day 5 : Trek from Darbang to Takum via Dharapani village (1670m/5,479ft.) 5 hrs
Day 6 : Trek from Takum to Lumsang village (2120m/6,955ft.)6 hrs
Day 7 : Trek from Lumsang to Gurja Village (2620m/8,595ft) 7 hrs.
Day 8 : Trek Gurja village to Darsinge Khark (3600m/11,811ft) 6 hrs.
Day 9 : Trek from Darsinge Khark to Burjunga Khark (3415m/11,204ft)5 hrs.

Day 36 : Free and rest day at Kathmandu. Farewell celebration dinner with cultural program in the evening.
Day 37 : Transfer to Kathmandu airport for final departure.

- Assistance at the International airport by Active Altitude Treks & Expeditions while arriving and departing in Kathmandu.
- 4 Nights 5-star category hotels accommodation in Kathmandu on B/B basis.
- Experienced and government licensed high altitude trekking and climbing guide during the trekking and climbing period.
- Schedule Flight Tickets for Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu sector to all climbing member, Sherpa guide, liaison officer and kitchen staff.
- All trekking and mountaineering equipment like; kitchen tent, stores tent, dining tents, toilet tents, tables, chairs, and cooking utensils for advance Base Camp and camp two.
- Common climbing equipment (necessary fixed and main rope, ice bars, ice screws, snow bar etc)
- Services of cook and kitchen boy at Base Camp and cook at Camp 2
- 3 meals a day (Breakfasts, Lunch, and Dinners with tea/ coffee) in available tea house/hotel/lodge during the trekking
- 3 fresh meals a day (Breakfasts, Lunch, and Dinners) will be served at base camp, and camp two.
- All food and fuel for Base Camp and higher camps during the expedition for both members and crews.
- Per person 60kg baggage allowance during trekking-up carrying by porter or Yak to climbing the Mt. Everest.

- Trekking Permit (Everest National Park entry fee)
- TIMS card (Trekking Information Management System).
- Expedition Royalty and climbing permit of Nepal Government to climb Mt. Everest (8848M).
- Nepalese Government Royalty and fees;
- One Experienced, Trained, Government Licensed, and 03 Times Everest Summiteers Climbing/expedition Guide (Sherpa) per client.
- All wages, equipment, medical and accidental Insurances for all involved staffs in trekking and expedition.
- Medical consultation services at the base camp with the HRA clinic at the base camp.
- Equipment allowances and wages for Climbing Sherpa’s, cooks, kitchen boys.
- Equipment allowances and wages for Government Liaison Officer.
- First Aid medical kits for the Group and the staffs.
- Satellite phone carrying by Guide for communication and available for members with the cost of US$ 3 per minute call.
- Appropriate food for high altitude and all climbing crew at base camp and above as required.

- The heater will be provided at base camp for heating the dining room.
- Emergency Oxygen, mask, and regulator provided on requirement of guest with appropriate charge
- Each expedition member will have an individual tent available in the ABC.
