Ganesh Himal Trek

The Ganesh Himal Trek is a beautiful walk to the remote region located in central Nepal between two popular mountain ranges; Langtang and Manaslu which passes through a less explored area with stunning scenery and local culture. The trek offers an off-the-beaten-path experience backed by beautiful villages, unspoiled & unchanged culture and tradition, a diverse range of flora & fauna, majestic waterfalls, terraced farms, and stunning mountain scenery along the quiet trail. The Ganesh Himal region is inhabited by Gurung and Tamang who are known for Buddhism and Shamanism practices and rituals. All of their daily lifestyle including their culture and traditions can be thoroughly observed during the trek. One of the best parts of this trek is spending a couple of nights with the locals in community homestays. It is the best way possible to experience the local culture and get yourself immersed with the locals. The spectacular views of the Ganesh Himal range (Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III, and Ganesh IV), Manaslu, Boudha Himal, Ghode Himal, and a little bit of the Annapurna range will enrich the journey to the next level. Likewise, wild animals like Himalayan Thar, Gaur, Langur, and Musk Deer can often be spotted on the trail. The Ganesh Himal Trek will require two nights of camping which is another experience not to forget. Our 18-day Ganesh Himal Trek Itinerary starts from Barpak and ends at Syabrubesi. There are other places from where the trek can be started or ended. If you would like to customize the itinerary according to your preferences, just send us a message. Our experts will help you create a perfect itinerary.
