Larkya Peak Climbing is a trekking and climbing expedition of Larkya Peak (6249 M). The right sub-peak of the mighty Manaslu mountain through the trail bordering the Gorkha and Manang regions of Nepal. This Climbing trail is perfect for Climbers to warm up before doing the other higher peaks in the Himalayas, from the top of Larkya Peak. But you can view the breathtaking views of the higher mountains surrounding it to the horizon. One must remember the way up to the base camp of the Peak. And as it follows the same route as Manaslu Circuit. Because we need all the permits for trekking and climbing in these restricted areas. Prepare for an adventure with lifelong memories in the lap of Manaslu. Larkya peak climbing is well made with gradual altitude adjustment. Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu – Arughat to Machha Khola (869m / 2,851ft)
🚌 Drive: 8–9 hours
Journey from Kathmandu through scenic mid-hill terrain to reach Machha Khola via Arughat.

Day 02: Machha Khola – Tatopani – Dovan – Jagat (1,400m / 4,593ft)
🚶‍♂️ Trek: 7–8 hours
Follow the Budi Gandaki River, pass hot springs at Tatopani, and continue through lush forest to Jagat.

Day 03: Jagat – Philim – Ekle Bhatti – Nyak Phedi – Deng (1,750m / 5,741ft)
🚶‍♂️ Trek: 6–7 hours
Cross suspension bridges, pass remote villages, and enjoy views of Shringi Himal.

Day 04: Deng – Rana – Bihi Phedi – Namrung (2,165m / 7,103ft)

Enter a culturally rich Tibetan-influenced region with beautiful forested trails.

Day 05: Namrung – Lihi – Lho (3,180m / 10,433ft)

Enjoy views of Ganesh Himal and explore monasteries en route to the charming village of Lho.

Day 06: Lho – Syala – Samagaun (3,525m / 11,565ft)

Marvel at Mt. Manaslu and hike through dense forest into the expansive Samagaun Valley.

Day 07: Acclimatization Day – Manaslu Base Camp / Phungen Gompa

Rest and acclimatize. Optional hikes to Phungen Gompa or Manaslu Base Camp.

Day 08: Samagaun to Samdo (3,875m / 12,713ft)

Short and scenic trek along open yak pastures and glacial streams.

Day 09: Samdo – Larkye Bazaar – Dharamsala (4,460m / 14,632ft)

Gradual ascent through barren landscape to high-altitude camp.

Day 10: Dharamsala – Larkya Peak Base Camp (5,000m / 16,404ft)
🚶‍♂️ Trek: 5–6 hours
Enter a pure alpine environment surrounded by snowy ridges.

Day 11: Larkya Base Camp to High Camp (5,600m / 18,372ft)

Ascend to High Camp and prepare for the summit.

**Day 12: Summit Day – Climb Larkya Peak (6,249m / 20,502ft)
⛰️ Climb Duration: 7–9 hours (approx.)
Push to the summit and enjoy breathtaking views of Himlung, Annapurna II & Cheo Himal. Descend to Base Camp.

Day 13: Contingency Day for Weather

Day 14: Base Camp – Cross Larkya La (5,160m) to Bhimtang (3,590m / 11,778ft)
🚶‍♂️ Trek: 7–8 hours
Cross the iconic Larkya Pass with spectacular mountain views and descend to Bhimtang.

Day 15: Bhimtang – Yak Kharka – Karche – Gho – Tilije (2,300m / 7,545ft)
🚶‍♂️ Trek: 6–7 hours
Descend through rhododendron forests and charming Gurung villages.

Day 16: Tilije – Dharapani – Tal – Besisahar (760m / 2,493ft)
🚶‍♂️ Trek & Drive: 5–6 hours
Reach the road and drive back to Besisahar.

Day 17: Drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu (1,350m / 4,429ft)

Return to Kathmandu via scenic countryside.
